Our customer had been experiencing on-going expansion and had become very reliant on email. They wanted a comprehensive email system to accommodate the growth in their business and the important role of email played. The old mail system was linked to an otherwise redundant broadband Internet connection, which the customer wished to close.

As our customer’s business had grown, their computing infrastructure had grown in complexity in an ad hoc way. This led to files being dispersed across a number of resources. The customer felt that there would be great efficiency benefits in consolidating everything onto a single storage device on a server-based RAID with secure shared access to files.
